fields.nullDefault

Replace null values with the field's default on edit.
Please note - this property requires the Editor extension for DataTables.

Description

This option can be used to tell Editor that null values should be replaced with the field's default value (fields.def / field().def()) when editing is triggered on a row. This is useful if you use null to represent the default state in the database.
