Server-side libraries

We publish libraries for some of the commonly used server-side environments to make it easy to provide the operations needed for DataTables on the server-side - e.g. reading and writing to a database, processing data, etc.

The documentation here is generated by automatic tools, reading the source code's documentation comments. Apologies for the different page styles - this will be corrected in due course!

PHP

The DataTables PHP libraries provide full support for PHP 7+, making it easy handle all DataTables requests with your own database.

Node.js

The Node.js libraries are written in Typescript and have full types available. Node.js 16+ is supported, and Knex.js is used for multiple database support.

.NET

The .NET libraries for DataTables support .NET 8+ and .NET Core 2.1+. With the CLR you can use them with your preferred language and framework.

Python

DataTables' Python libraries use SQLAlchemy Core to provide SQL database support, but is framework-agnostic, so it can be used with your preferred one.
