Show the row above when the filter is used

So I want to filter by Jennifer, but I still want it to still display the tr and td above with "Girls" in it. Any direction?

http://www.datatables.net/examples/api/row_details.html - This could also work if the filter would actually filter the collapsed content and show the parent row - Not sure how I'd do this locally, especially if they were unique for each row however.
