integration with ColReorder?

Just in the last week i have implemented StateRestore v2 in my application with ajax storage in a database... then I thought I would try out the ColReorder extension but the settings don't persist... i'm thinking that if an end user wanted to go to the trouble to save their table preferences, they may want to include a reordering of the columns... is that possible?
